After graduating with a degree in Physical Education and a diploma in Recreation, Paul has enjoyed an extensive career in the fitness industry that has spanned 27 years.
As a Senior Vice President and health and exercise executive Paul has designed and equipped over 20 state-of-the-art fitness centres and consulted with YMCAs and municipalities from the Maritimes to Alberta.
A popular presenter, public speaker and fitness columnist with The Edmonton Journal, Paul is a respected subject matter expert, Trainer, Trainer Educator and co-owner of successful Personal Training businesses in Ontario and Alberta.
Growing up with European roots Monica learned the value of movement education at an early age by participating in and eventually teaching ballet and gymnastics. Today, as a certified Personal Training Specialist (PTS) with a degree in Psychology from McMaster University, Monica’s unique background continues to unite mind and body. A modern weight loss guru.
As former owner of Ubung Studios and Coneckt Fitness Solutions in Ontario with partner and husband Paul, Monica utilizes her background in Psychology to help her clients understand the barriers that hinder success. Monica holds certifications as diverse as Nutrition & Wellness Specialist, Life Skills Coaching, Choice Theory, GTS Personal Trainer, Myers Briggs Type Indicator.
In addition to personal training services, Paul & Monica contribute their wealth of fitness experience to commercial and private projects including equipment procurement, layout and design. They train, develop and educate clients and staff and are available for speaking engagements and private consultation.
